UNISCAN LIMITED FINALISTS IN TWO CATEGORIES

Uniscan Limited, are finalists in the Excellent Customer Service and the Business Innovation of the Year categories of the Essex Countywide Business Awards 2009. This annual award event sponsored by Essex County Council is designed to recognise the achievements of the Essex business community and is hotly contested by companies across the county. A black tie presentation dinner dance will be held in Southend-on-Sea where the winners will be announced on Friday, 8th of May. The results will be a closely guarded secret, only being revealed at the last moment. The names of the winners will be announced, Oscar-style, from the stage.
31 initial applications in the Excellent Customer Service category were whittled down to just 10 finalists. Each finalist will receive a visit from a team of field judges to determine the winners. This award is for companies/organisations demonstrating the highest standards of customer care and service by adopting a positive and focussed approach to meeting customer needs. Upon reaching the final Uniscan has already demonstrated exceptional levels of customer service and care and eagerly await the judges' final decision.
Applications in the Business Innovation of the Year category have been whittled down to 9 finalists who will each be visited by a team of field judges. This award is for companies who have demonstrated the ability to create, nurture and develop ideas with products, services or processes that substantially improve the commercial performance or prospects of the company. This very diverse category attracts many different companies and by reaching the final Uniscan has proven their pedigree for original thinking and innovation.

Competition for these prestigious awards is high with more entrants and a greater range of companies represented every year. Uniscan Limited joins the ranks of a small number of businesses making it through as finalists in two separate categories in the same year.
