UNISCAN LIMITED – BASILDON BUSINESS AWARD WINNERS 2009

Hot on the heels of their resounding success in the Essex Countywide Business Awards, Uniscan has picked up another award for Excellent Customer Service.

Sponsored by Basildon District Council, the Basildon business awards are acknowledged as the highlight of the year for the local business community. This annual award event is designed to recognise the achievements of local businesses and is hotly contested by companies across the Basildon district.

Entrepreneurs and their guests packed Basildon’s Towngate theatre for this year’s special black tie event.
As usual the results were a closely guarded secret, only being revealed at the last moment. The names of the winners were announced, Oscar-style, from the stage.

Finalists in the manufacturing category for the last 3 consecutive years and winners of that award twice Uniscan Limited were, this year, nominated for the Excellent Customer Service award. The award is for companies/organisations demonstrating the highest standards of customer care and service by adopting a positive and focussed approach to meeting customer needs. This is by far the most popular category and upon reaching the final Uniscan had already beaten off some very stiff competition.

The team from Uniscan Limited was delighted to receive an award in the Excellent Customer Service category.

The result was by no means a forgone conclusion with us having once again to substantiate our application during a comprehensive visit by the field judges.
